People only complain about shorters when the shorts are calling a company out correctly. The best defence against shorters is to run the company really well and make decent profits. Look at JB Hi-Fi, they got a caning for years and yet they kept making decent returns and blew the shorters out of the market. Now bring that back to AMP. Even with recent losses if the current management team were able to succinctly demonstrate how they are going to drive this business forward into prosperity there wouldn't be anyone complaining.
