i can't seem to find some cost estimate for companies class...

i can't seem to find some cost estimate for companies class action defence but this is what i got from some website site quote "defence costs per proceeding average $10 million" (USA site state $2bn but USA is very different from Australia, we dont drag our court cases for eons) AMP has to defend against 5 class actions so approx just $50 M in costs, the cases will all be lost as they are all based on AMP admittance during the RC and findings of court. The proposed compensation plan will then be revealed after the court cases but i doubt it would be more than $1bn all up. but the media reports may cause the most damage in losing clients each time they report the nitty gritty details.....so i dont expect much action from AMP sp this year, any increase would be the usual pump n dump attempts all IMO DYOR .
