you are joking. If I had built short positions, now have spare money to buy BMW X6. You need closely to look at the chart. On 29/7/20, there were roughly 100m short positions. They had abundant profits. They would cover/buy back yesterday and today. I will guess the majority shorts had covered already. I do not know the share price movement during this week and next week.
