Yeb, based on vibe, its not a scientific formula, just after a share price takes a long hit, there is generally a propensity for recovery due to being oversold. Similarly, when a SP increases rapidly, profit takers tend to start to put pressure to bring a share price down. With AMP, recently after the life sale announcement the spare has dropped 25%. Also with the value if the proceeds in cash, as well as the other assets, the asset backing is covering the SP quite well, so the propensity is for the SP to go up rather than down. Its as good as anyone else's guess, and it really is a guess. No one knows for certain the SP for the next day, as there are a lot of variables out there that have not been disclosed, and the market does not always act rationally.
