the business AMP as we knew it can never be reborn. its too mixed and way too interrelated and does not have the transparency required to have each business unit properly managed and accounted for. Each business must run on its own accord.

There is no other business in the financial services sector that as mish-mashed as AMP and this is why its taken Ferrari so bloody long to get the engine moving forward with momentum

The business must be separated into each business unit, and this must be done quickly. Even AMP capital must be divisional, so each of the platforms within AMP capital can be managed with the most efficiency.

This should have been the incoming CEO's first challenge, however AMP was facing much more dire circumstances when Ferrari took the helm.

Now the dust has settled and the fact that no Board member and Ferrari haven't even put this on the agenda as an urgency, shows that the amount of riff's within management are so blatant that its ruining their ability to focus on matters at hand that need doing for the success of AMP.

So break the bloody thing up and sell it piecemeal so we have a good chance of getting a return, before its too late.
