Morgan Stanley : ratesAMP as Equal-weight
Market volatility and larger outflows are expected to delayAMP's recovery. The life sale is on track for completion in June.
The recession is expected toweigh on retail flows and the broker envisages a further -$1bn ofcorporate super redemptions in FY20.
The broker also notes thatAMP is investigating divestment of NZ operations and, while the allocation ofpotential proceeds is not clear, one option could be to double up on AustralianWealth business.
Rating is Equal-weight andtarget is reduced $1.40 from $1.70.Industry view is In-Line.
