it’s an open CA - so all firms are involved unless they opt out. It’s not a matter of whether an adviser was planning on retiring. Many books were purchased off AMP at the higher multiple. The starting point is paying all firms 1.5 x- however if the judge awarded damages, then does it include potential interest cost incurred etc etc. it’s complex.
