I have been told on good authority that AMP staff are just so arrogant that they don't realise that they are going to lose. At first I couldn't work out why they didn't settle earlier, now I understand that AMP staff thought they would just keep this going until they won. It wasn't until evidence in court was being heard that a few shivers started to go down a few spines. Even then, they didn't settle.
AMP is a top heavy institution where every manager has a large ego, massive insecurities and is given free range to use shareholders money. This has created an environment of extreme arrogance and a bully boy mentality. Sadly, it is now time to pay the piper. Any attempts to appeal will be soundly crushed and AMP will now disappear into the annals of history.
Will the last person to leave AMP please turn out the lights...
