I am interested in knowing the number of advisers involved. The number 800 seems to be too high.
In 2019, Amp had 944 practices operating and in 2022, the number of practices operating is reduced to 381.
So potentially there are 563 businesses/practices involved in the class action. However the last 3 years, there are a number of mergers and settlements took place which barred those practices to involve in a class action against Amp.
Assuming 1/3 are out and 2/3 are in. We looking at the maximum number of 375
