"lest we forget"
Pretty well sums it all up.
The reason for war doesn't matter to those that have died.
They no longer wonder.
This is a day to remember those that died and the cost of war.
Be it folly or be it just.
25th of April means a lot to those that served at the time, so its as good a day as any.
