I am not questioning the defence force and their past acts, especially in different times, but I am questioning how they and we are being manipulated if at all.

It would make more sense to celebrate a reason to defend something rather than acknowledge a day of tragedy, especially as history suggests many where simply following orders as well as beliefs

Is it time the defence force grew up, separated from the elite and Australia recognised reasons to defend, with more meaning than bullshit notions of the voice, and going forward recognise this as a day and reason to symbolically defend or are we still fragmented and taking orders from others from afar like a colony still??

You have nfi about Australia or New Zealand. The Gallipoli landings WERE a mistake, this has always been acknowledged, but they were the "coming of age" of the colonies. I see little honour in war but Australia, New Zealand and Turkey fought with honour.

Your day unrelated to Gallipoli and war is Australia Day but I doubt you approve of that either. you are just a curmudgeon.
