    This is where decision makers fall down.

    People die, get killed, tragic lo killed, tragic loss etc.. in war. Long lasting effects, mental scares etc..physical as well, some never recover from.

    They like to glorify war in the movies to rally the troops.

    However this is not what it should be about. The diggers and tri-forces should be seen in a more positive light as part of the fabric defending the nation.

    The march is relevant, the defence force is relevant but focusing on overseas conflicts really is counterproductive. There is a place for remembrance and thanks no doubt, but the integration within the community cannot be dropped either and the role they play celebrated
