Lol.
The failed RWNJ denier argument.
The number one priority is energy supply. It would be ridiculous to suggest that the government would choose ideology over energy supply.
Sure, the German made some poor decisions around nuclear power in the past post Fukishima. Probably wasn't the smartest idea to put all the money on the Putin horse either with regard to gas supply.
That said, nuclear power is only a small part of the German power system. It isn't as big as you suggest. It's only about 11%.
However , it absolutely confirms why we shouldn't rely on a corrupt industry run by dictators, criminals and greedy multinationals. It shows exactly why countries should endeavor to power their own countries with locally produced energy.
Just when you need fossil fuel for energy security, some mad whack job shuts it down.
Who wants to live in a world where your energy supplier shuts off your heating at the start of winter just because he has short man issues ?
The Germans are moving to a low emission economy. They are committed to responding to the mmcc issue. They are not switching back to fossil fuel en masse or for the long term.
The great thing is that because countries like Germany and Australia have pushed the renewable energy envelope, it has turbo charged the clean energy industry to the point where renewable energy is now very cheap and very reliable. Making it much easier for developing countries to adapt to the technology.
