Of course the baseload power in Australia is becoming unreliable because most of the coal fired powerstations were built in the 1950s to 70s and had a planned life span of 30 to 40 years and no government in the last 20 years has had the balls to upgrade them and or convert them to clean coal technology because they might loose votes and now some have shut down because of their age or because they are viewed as evil plus the population has tripled since most were built so how could anyone expect them to still be reliable. Christos you need to take a more practical view on how things happen and not knock the baseload power that gave prosperity and health to this country for many decades, all machinery needs maintenance and our so called leaders have failed to maintain our power infrastructure.
