Christos you need to take a more practical view on how things happen and not knock the baseload power that gave prosperity and health to this country for many decades, all machinery needs maintenance and our so called leaders have failed to maintain our power infrastructure.

Sorry but rather than hand out nostalgic advice, come to terms with current technological stats of play. In 2023 new technologies are cheaper than old technologies.
No one cares what happened 50 years ago. We are looking forward in time, not backward.
