..not quite sure on your logic here? ...POSCO committed to $93 billion spend on batteries...estimated 90 new graphite mines needed by 2040 ..POSCO hoping to be largest battery player ex-China so wouldn't they want to be signing deals with miners wherever and whenever they can get their hands appropriate feed...it seems there's a VERY big disconnect in what the market sees as the graphite market today (oversupply of synthetic etc) and what will be needed from demand, esg and geopolitical perspective overlayed with time to build mines constraint? ...also not sure about your holy grail comment ..BKT merely highlighting where they sit with product qualification , cost curve (power costs) , debt financing , ESG credentials, govt endorsement etc..and by those metrics they are poised to be one of the next important mines to enter production ..
