Chinese oil and gas fields wouldn't get fried. It would be a strike using conventional weapons on a nuclear target. Nowhere near as devastating as detonating a nuclear bomb. No doubt there could be a bad effect from radiation. I don't know if it's working and the capacity of the reactor. The same thing happened in Syria not so long ago, but that reactor wasn't operational yet.
