I think you are probably spot on with your comment.

But the sad thing is, that in doing so, he would reveal to all and sundry what a deplorable human being he is ..... and I suspect that it won't matter one iota to him.

And if that is what money does to you, ie. selling your soul for potential gain, then it isn't really worth having.

I sincerely hope you and I are both wrong in our assessment of the situation that exists here on the RRS forum.
