At the AGM phil showed a graph of production and the downturn cycle, and spoke of picking the bottom. He showed how he thought after (from memory) September and October had picked up that August was the bottom of the cycle. Then production and orders slopped again and the bottom had not been hit.
If I was a company looking to take over. I would be waiting for signs of the rise, before I would submit offers, mainly because I'd want the company to absorb all the looses and grab the gains.. (As we all have tried to do, so far without success). So when this hits the bottom and starts the uptick is where we should start to see something productive in sp.
It's a long wait though. Am hoping for good quarterly numbers.
