This is a good market capitalization comparison. But because the US listed stocks have run so much I like to look at Price to Book Value.
AVL Book 10 to 1
Lynas Book 5 to 1
Book values are wrong for every mine because they do not take into account the full run in rare earth prices. Still, they are less manipulated by the run up in US listed REE stocks. This run up could help AVL finance their future projects with secondaries, but the $700 million is not really Avalon's either. It is what traders will currently pay for Avalon. But with no earnings or cash flow I prefer the inaccuracies in book rather than market cap when comparing US listed REE stocks to non-US listed REE stocks. Just MO.
