Anyone know how to cheaply buy international stocks like Amazon / Apple? I really like MFG and their stock portfolio but wanted to see if there is a cheap way to get increased exposure to certain firms in it?
I was thinking of buying on Commsec but wasn't sure if I'd get a 2-3% trade fee for international and then the bad currency conversion so another 2-3% lost their so already down 4-6% the day I buy them..
Also silly question but whats the difference in upside from buying MFG shares on ASX and giving money to their fund directly? Assume ASX is better as you get the management and performance fees as income vs the fund you just get underlying returns less fess paid?
