As someone that has spent some time in the outback, I reckon evs would make a lot of sense for station owners.
Running out of fuel is a constant worry in the outback. Who hasn't had the experience of waiting in the outback for a fuel delivery ?
Then there's dirty fuel. A common issue in the outback also.
Outback stations are putting large solar systems these days to power themselves and get off generators. So much of the time they will be generating excess electricity. Perfect for powering vehicles.
