It's really sad to see an example of someone that the education has left behind.
Especially ones that lie about their qualifications.
Even worse when those people actually have solar panels at home.
" Cloudy all week " ?
" Charge every two days " ? Etc , etc.
Do solar panels not work on cloudy days ?
Are you driving over 200kms every day ?
Are you not connected to the National grid ? The one that has solar resources across the entire length of the east coast ? The one that has wind generation onshore ( and soon offshore ) connected to the same grid ? The one that is building many large energy storage projects up and down the country ? The one that will have millions of evs ( a very large energy storage resource ) connected and available in the future ? The one where we have states that whose goal is to overproduce renewable energy ? E.g. SA at 500%.
Pretty sure the entire country isn't covered by cloud for a week btw.
Why would you want to waste your money and store a week worth of electricity when you are grid connected ?
Why would you spend all that money on PowerWalls when you can buy an ev with a big battery for much less and get free transport in the deal ?
