you obviously dont know the company well.
their project has always had a short mine life. 3 to 4 years.
they have always said their resource is in effect a very large option on the silver price.
they have always said its project go ahead price was $9 ounce.
and it has only recently passed this level.
the company via its Chairman Bob McNeil has been a silver bull for a number of years and said the project would not go ahead until the silver price was in the right zone and heading strongly in the right direction.
why mine out the resource at marginally profitable levels when much more cash can be made in the future?
if you dont understand the Macmin philosophy you should not be buying them.
you buy them to have a holding in one of the few pure silver companies and be a shareholder of a silver resource, not to buy a mining company.
(and I dont hold them either).......
the smart approach is to hope they leave it in the ground for a while.
which is exactly what they have been doing.
MMN is for the patient.
5 cents to 20 cents in the last 18 months isnt bad considering it isnt mining is it??????
