Don’t worry about looking in papers or reading about analyst predictions just open your eyes and look around. Half of Australian home owners would be bankrupt within a month of losing their jobs. The Au dollar is going to make the tourism industry almost redundant. Domestic tourism will grind to a halt as petrol prices keep rising. What do we manufacture in au, our whole economy has been based on tourism and farming and mining. Take tourism out of the picture, take farming out of the picture as in drought, and suddenly you are left with China. That’s a big gamble.
