Seems a little excessive exaggeration. By your claim you would be ok to hop into an industrial sized microwave oven and press "start". They work at a lower frequency than proposed for 5G, all in your 'meh' category.
There is a fair dependence on the intensity, and with the increasing overall intensity we are exposed to of a large range of electromagnetic radiation, there is some reasonable doubt for long term effects.
