I have read your points and although plausible should Sojitz want to screw Lynas Over you have left out the other trump card which is China. There is no doubt Lynas executives has been flying back and forth over there this year. The announcement by Lynas minimum pricing schedule would lead to China backing the plan by raising their offer price of rare earth.
Any opportunity for China to block Japan strategic stake on a ree supply China will be interested to do so.
