Surprised to see you bottom-picking with this one. I so look up to you for picking breakouts so this caught me off-balance.

Don't think the funds (SpringTree, etc) do any pumping. They just wait for the company to make a good announcement and sell into the ensuing rally. HTX will go up if and when fundamentals change, not because the fundies want to pump it.
