Matt grab yourself a few books by Daryl Guppy and another couple by Louise Bedford. a $200 investement. Then play with some free charting programs on the internet and if you still want to play the sharemarket buy a charting program.
I bought Insight trader in 2003 for 800 bucks. All I can say is it opened the doors for me on something I thought was exclusively for bankers and financial advisors and economics graduates. Well financial advisors and brokers ppphhhhtttt.....they may be better educated than me, but I wouldnt give a tuppence for thier advice after I taught myself charting. And hey Im just an ordinairy guy with a background of chasing Cattle around an outback property and i made it pay bigtime. Dont lose hope but get informed and take control.
