Agree raider...maybe we need an entry exam that if failed the applicants are turned around and sent home to their country do more study!

That's true as well, one cannot create wealth with out contributors. take the share market, the profits you make are some one else's losses.

But it is unreasonable to believe that only the working section of the community should be obliged to pay for the bludgers. There is no issue with assisting those genuinely in need, that is what a "society" is about.

That's off topic to the thread header though...our society is heading the way of every other unfortunately. Why? Because there is the growing belief pushed by the UN and the left that everybody has the right to live where ever they want in this world and have no obligation to accept the laws and responsibilities of the country they have decided to move to.

In our country there is a growing chorus from the left to open the borders and allow anybody and everybody to come here, bring their beliefs and customs and we will name our society "multicultural".

Rubbish...we will name our society a failure and a disaster. Unless the people that come here, come here for the opportunity of a new lifestyle and to leave the oppressions and hatreds behind them, all we get are new hatreds, disunity and division.
That's what we are seeing now, and it is not the fault of the generations here that have grown to love and protect what we have.

The "faux politics of envy" are coming from the people that have been allowed to come here and bring their prejudices with them. To bring more of the same will only see an escalation in the riots and division...no go areas, suburbs that are too dangerous to enter...imo we need to stop immigration from other countries that don't share our values right now until we sort out the problems we now see escalating...
