Re FR's comment, if you look at the AGM propsoals from last year, you will find that the same resolution (resolution 5 last year) was presented then as well. I have spoken to them previously re this, and the purpose is to give the company flexibility should a "deal of interest" arise and quick action is required. As to FR's implication that a raising is on the way, the resolution was passed at last years AGM and not used, further the company has ~$7.5m in cash with a further ~$2m from option conversion due later in the year. Unless there is a corporate deal on offer (which is likely to be very good news for shareholders anyway), I would not expect ABZ to be raising any equity in the near term.
