I agree with a lot of what has been said (except for the chartists!) but please don't assume (as many seem to) that the shorters are cleaning up just because they manage to drive the stock lower short term. It's a zero sum game and often they can't buy any volume back in at a profit - and obviously if a decent announcement comes when they are "short" then they get buried ...... it's glorified gambling and nice if you can get an investment bank to pay you to do it.

As to 1 Page it seems they have been penalised by some for showing flexibility in their business model (curated pools etc rather than jumping to Stage 2 etc) . Yes this may delay revenue increases but they are continuing to attract serious client interest and the size of their target market remains huge and unexploited.

Someone is lending the stock to the shorters! So who knows what the lenders may know. However if they do know that good news maybe a little distant and they can make quid for lending the stock without getting burned - a win win I say.
Purely a cynical view but possible.
