Nicely said M Fats, the curated pools are from my understanding a direct reaction from customer requests, they want the most highly connected, highly skilled and passive candidates they can get and who better than the 1PG team to deliver on a silver platter rather than having HR trying to take care of all recruitments for all divisions within a massive company that has massive recruitment needs!
The guys can spit out 25 pools within 20 minutes for each customer, that's huge and saves all customers plenty of time and money! The new model still has them on minimum amount of pools for a "stage 1" rollout and then they are contracted to a minimum amount of pools for the next year "stage 2", I think this model will work very well and in favour of the company, they don't have to rely on customer staff getting their heads around something new, it's simply handed to them from a massive database of approx 1.2bln professional profiles!
I believe this has been a very successful stragey already and will help expedite many signings as most of the 240 odd pipeline customers have thousands of open rolls right now and need help filling them with the right people.
As they state in the 11/11 release, the minimum expected annual contract size for an enterprise with 1000 employees is expected to be $300k. Wow, imagine what a Starbucks with 180k employees could be worth, they've already asked for access to 30k prospective candidates!!
