TDA - thanks for that quote.
The immediate line before it was a bit eye catching: "1-Page expects the majority of its largest enterprise clients to make payment on a net 90 day basis."
Well they had 17 sourcing clients on the 29/5, and I suspect 19 on the 17/6. So why wasn't there a huge surge in receipts in the last qly? I think that statement is actually an admission that while they might like clients to make payment on a 90 day basis, it is not happening at $25k per quarter per client in their accounts. Trade receivables at July 31st were only $57k, revenue was $159k, and a lot of this would be from segments other then Source. So where is the $475k (19 clients) in revenue at the half year? There was $118 in receipts in q2 - so I assume that q3 receipts would have to be well over $350k, except that there were no revenues that come anywhere near corresponding to such a figure, so I doubt that will happen.
Also dissecting "1-Page remains confident to achieve its stated targets of clients and expected
contract sizes before Financial Year end, January 31 2016."
I thought their contract sizes would be on target already. Are they hinting that their contract sizes are not currently what the market is expecting? Are the expected contract sizes what management expect, or what the market expects? I strongly suspect they are going to hit their client numbers, but the market is obviously expecting that they will be getting the (reducing over time) pro forma pricing currently at $US20k per quarter, formerly $us25k.
I suspect management have their fingers crossed that if they get a client onto the platform for any fee at all, then they hope the ordering client will like it, and talk the seniors into taking up a full priced packaged. That would be my strategy, but I would perhaps let the market know that, and not leave the field to only those who can read financial accounts and revenue recognition policies.
Anyway - we'll see if we reach the minimum $350k ish in receipts level in this qly, that I am expecting. Might finesse my expectations for this number at some stage.
DYOR, and DROM - these are my thoughts, I make mistakes every day, so we'll have to wait to see what happens.
