When will we get news?

With only 8 days remaining in the March Quarter when can we expect the long-awaited drilling results update? You would think that if there had been a significant delay in sorting out the data for announcement we would have been told by now or at the very least in the next few days. So if we get to say Wednesday with no news then its reasonable to assume we will get news before March 31.

With all the talk about FAN and the possibility that we won't get a 2C or much more detail than we already have, it should be remembered that if they say they ned to appraise it further that's not because there's nothing there .. its because they think there is a great deal there and want to determine the sweet spots and size. There was a 500m oil column with no oil water contact and they found prolific source rocks so all that points to a very sizeable potential reservoir.

Only a few weeks ago FAR's media person confirmed that FAR stands behind all previous statements on the discoveries, and the Invetsor Presentation in early March highlighted once again that they have 2 world-class discoveries. IMHO any playing down of FAN will be a tactical play by CNE/COP and alos to do with the prevailing oil price environment and not to do with its potential.
