With all the talk about FAN and the possibility that we won't get a 2C or much more detail than we already have, it should be remembered that if they say they ned to appraise it further that's not because there's nothing there .. its because they think there is a great deal there and want to determine the sweet spots and size. There was a 500m oil column with no oil water contact and they found prolific source rocks so all that points to a very sizeable potential reservoir.

Only a few weeks ago FAR's media person confirmed that FAR stands behind all previous statements on the discoveries, and the Invetsor Presentation in early March highlighted once again that they have 2 world-class discoveries. IMHO any playing down of FAN will be a tactical play by CNE/COP and alos to do with the prevailing oil price environment and not to do with its potential.

My read of Phillip's post on Friday is that we are unlikely to get news this week and possibly not even next. I wouldn't sweat it. FAR never promised a quarter one release; they only said they expected to announce quarter one.

Not sure why everyone seems to expect a big week for the SP. I think the potential for 'super buying' has been over-hyped. IMO only a successful announcement will spike the price.

I enjoyed your reiteration of the success-at-hand, though. Our fundamentals are incredibly strong at this stage of the cycle.
