    Probably a great opportunity to use AI for better weather predictions to inform grid operating criteria.

    AI could not do a damn thing with what happens by 9am, 12pm and 3pm, too many parameters for starters to deal with.

    So lets say in your scenario, if Snowy 2 was running at full capacity to supplement what didn't happen by 9am, 12pm and 3pm then what, call Qld for a lot of coal fired electricity.

    You may be involved in AI and I have seen a lot of this over the years and in operation, it is only as good as what is programmed and when you have multiple constantly changing scenarios it just freezes as gets lost, for millions spent.
    .
    The weather people can't get it right with the technology they have at there hands so how do you expect AI to get it right with these people giving the programmers the info they have to foresee the weather.
