I can simply not get away from the fact that the reason ARB has been so good to you and I, over the last several years (decades), is that it has earned a superior return on its capital. The reason it has been able to do this, apart from being prudentially managed by people with skill and a high sense of ownership, is that it has a towering brand in Australia. I can see no other reason.

So the question has to be asked:

What kind of a return on capital, can we expect in the OS operations, compared to the domestic operations?

If one does not have a sense of that, then I have to ask, on what basis can one make a "straight line" projection about the OS prospects, vis-a vis ARB's track record? There are many examples of wonderful brands not living up to expectations when they travel abroad (Starbucks, Krispy Kreme for instance). Strong brands don't just happen, and they often have a geographic location.
