jantimot and Havingfun,
For at least the first ten years, CDU will be producing copper, cobalt and gold with a mill throughput of 3 million tonnes per annum. On the announced JORC figures, it will be a very profitable low cost open cut operation.
Uranium has been found at the polymetallic Wilgar find where it is but one of many minerals found from surface in what is shaping up as a most interesting prospect with high gold silver molybdenum values etc. To date this is the only prospect among many finds currently being drilled at Rocklands from which Uranium has been reported.
There is no intention of Uranium mining at Wilgar in the forseeable future. The Queensland Government currently opposes Uranium mining. That attitude may change down the track but , whilst Uranium mining would benefit CDU at some future time,it has no bearing whatsoever on the success of Rocklands.
