What is "compelling" data? I have seen many a times companies...

What is "compelling" data? I have seen many a times companies produce positive results but the SP goes down on that news.

This is often because the market has already accounted for the potential and the news is not as good as expected and the price drops to adjust.

Another reason is that alot of investors are ordinary people and their take on what is compelling is very different to that of those within the field. In Oncoloy if survival rate is 3+ years that is good outcome but you tell a shareholder one of the trial patients died after 3 years they quickly sell their shares!!!

I think maybe one winning card for IMM is that the majority of shares are in the hands of people who underestand the game from medical perspective ... but when a few short term joe blows start selling, the price goes down .... unless it is so low that the wise start topping up.
