It sounds like you're calling the start of a bear market? I'm not so sure. I'm looking for a serious correction (ie 10% maybe more) but I think in 1 to 3 year outlook there's a possibility that the planets may be alingning for something bigger (and maybe longer) than the 87 ramp. Driven by factors such as the baby boomber spending power & liquidity & m&A, technology & chinidia (globalisation) there is a chance we could be in the midst of the biggest bull market ever - a roaring 20s repeat.

Have you ever read any of Harry.S.Dent's stuff?

I'm not a convert to this senario, I'm just acknowledging it as a possibility. I've basically been a bear since September last year but I'm trying to be open minded.

Would like to know your thoughts re the medium to long term outlook.
