However Labor by stealth (not talking about) appear to be trying to stop the boats by holding record amounts of seekers in detention ... yes more than Howard at any on time and there average time held is around 6 months ATM.

Labor lured these people here while trying to take votes off Howard, under the guise of a more compassionate approach and then decided to lock them up for extended periods for further political benefit.

This a disgrace. They were warned of this outcome and now about 5000 people have to be locked up so Labour can try a send a message for the purposes of stopping a problem they created.
