Cake, I hold PLI as well as some PLIO. It is however, one of my smaller bets representing less than 2% of my investment funds. I am currently reviewing it again to see whether I should invest more.
The product looks good and the time needed for phase trials is much, much lower than for many other companies I hold shares in. PLI update their shareholders often and their Peptalk is good. I work in China so cannot access the PLI web site, so cannot comment on its quality.
The reasons why it have not caught the eye of investors are:
It has been at a relatively high price since Jan. Most bios do not move up so far until much later in the trails.
The American listing complicates things. While it may have resulted in the elevated sp, it means there is no bargain time before the announcement.
It is derived from a plant. People may just decide to buy and grow the plant and use the sap.
