The US business is now right-sized and it has been a benign CAT season, so it should really start punching this half. They are still very short duration in fixed income so higher rates mean better investment yields and a lower PV of liabilities, slightly offset by lower equity markets (if that is what happens- there is quite a bit baked in already).
All us fan-boys agree that 2016 is QBE's year and its $20 soon !
(I am still a bit jacked off with Frank who was paid serious cash, got Deified, and then left a pile of steaming underperforming acquisitions to be cleaned up)
