Your broker where you hold the stock is sitting on all the information in order to execute this transaction in your favor. CYL did nothing wrong.
Unfortunately especially online brokers couldn't care less to provide a proper service to their clients.
I was in a similar position and took matters in my own hands. I ended up communicating with the folks at https://www.automicgroup.com.au/. Automic Group is the share registry for all Australian securities. I then would share all my emails with my broker, and eventually I had my shares. Basically I did the work my broker should have done.
You have 2 options:
- Ask your broker why this hasn't gone through yet and what you can do to help the process.
- Take the matter in your hands as I did.
