Aug 4: "I had followed up with my broker and spoke with the corporate actions rep who basically said the same as @Moraga. It is indeed unusually long for the share exchange, but does happen when dealing with Australian transfer agents. The rep said it is on CYL management to put pressure on them to speed up the administrative process since they are the paying client. Despite being in a digital age, the shares are being sent by mail which extends the transfer time. The rep was more annoyed than me as this case has involved way more time and follow up than his typical share exchange files. He suspects that the Aussie transfer agent, the bottleneck in this case, gets to bill more hours this way. Doesn’t matter who your broker is, we are all in the same boat."

Aug 15: "Our clearing team has followed up twice with our agent this week for a copy of the CYL statement to have it deposited. We are still waiting for a response from them.
