Imo, no emerging UCG company can be valued by strict fundamental analysis because there are no financials to go by. There are not even 100% proven technologies amongst the hopefuls. Some are some still developing their technologies. Most companies are using fiancial projections based on modelling.

In your use of "fundamental" (and mine and anybody's) what happens if one of the foundations sinks or never was a foundation? At best, "fundamental" applied to an emerging technology company should be regarded as being in constant need of reality checks imo.
I suspect the originator of this thread was doing just that.
