When governments and industry leaders allow any new technology to be totally unhindered and without any restrictions or penalties in it's development and application then the world had better watch out
Although AI is very clever it has obvious shortcomings and there many mistakes apparent in it's early clumsy use and application, without appropriate guide lines and standards being laid down those problems will become embedded within it's future use, and society will rue the day that they let the genie out of the bottle to roam freely
