For non-option holders there is almost no reason to buy into this stock until existing all options expire or are exercised . Only then can the true value of your holdings be realized. Why would you want to buy in just to see your existing shares diluted because someone decided to buy in at 30cents? Keeping in mind that the last set of options was an issue of 2:1, that would mean that your current holdings are potentially 66.66% of their current worth.
I do think that this can be a factor for downward pressure on an existing share price, based how often I see a share make gains right after options expire. Really now it's all about how long you are prepared to hold on for.
