IMO EGO shouldn't be taking this action on it's own. I think that the potential exists to set a legal precedent regarding directors indemnifying themselves with the shareholders funds against private defamation actions. Surely this action, if proven to be a breach of corporate law then it should be the role of the corporate watchdogs to be prosecuting this action in the first instance.
